KAYAK approached Ripple Research to assist them in creating a tool to help consumers set realistic saving goals towards their anticipated holiday spend.

Using desk research and consumer opinion polling, Ripple Research established consumers’ average purchase frequency across each of their regular expenditures.

Taking into account how long consumers were willing to save for and what they were willing to go without, the KAYAK platform would generate potential holiday destinations within their budget.

Ripple’s PR division were instrumental in sourcing Rachel Riley to front a media day, as well as generating 126 items of coverage across press and broadcast.

Running the project from start to finish, Ripple Research successfully led the campaign which resulted in a significant spike in website traffic.
